Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a technology consulting firm in the U.S.  This role sits at the center of delivery coordination and is responsible for ensuring projects move forward with clarity, accountability, and structure.

The Project Manager will partner closely with delivery leadership consultants, technical teams, and clients to translate requirements into execution. This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, requiring strong ownership, comfort navigating ambiguity, and the ability to lead without micromanagement.

This is a full time remote role aligned with U.S. Central or Eastern Time business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project coordination for Salesforce and technology implementations
• Facilitate client discovery sessions to understand business needs and delivery requirements
• Translate client requirements into clear, documented user stories, timelines, and execution plans
• Partner closely with Functional and Technical Leads to ensure alignment between business needs and technical delivery
• Ensure project teams have all the required tools, access environments, and documentation to begin work
• Manage project schedule, milestones, dependencies, risk, and deliverables
• Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning backlog grooming standups demos and retrospectives as needed
• Track progress against scope timeline and budget escalating risks proactively when necessary
• Prepare clear status reports burn reports and delivery updates for internal leadership and client stakeholders
• Serve as the primary point of coordination between consultants, leadershi,p and client teams
• Ensure accurate forecasting of project resources and capacity planning
• Drive accountability across teams while maintaining a collaborative delivery culture
• Support post-implementation follow-up and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing business side or delivery focused projects in consulting technology or professional services
• Demonstrated experience managing Salesforce implementations or Salesforce adjacent projects
• Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
• Experience facilitating scrum ceremonies and working in sprint based delivery environments
• Strong documentation skills including requirements user stories and status reporting
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence outcomes without direct authority
• Excellent organizational planning and time management skills
• Advanced English proficiency with confidence communicating with U.S. based clients and executives
• Hands on experience using Salesforce as part of project delivery
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira Asana Monday Microsoft Project or similar platforms
• Comfort working independently in a remote environment with high ownership expectations

Preferred Experience

• Scrum Master certification or equivalent practical experience
• Previous experience working with Salesforce consultants developers or implementation partners
• Experience supporting enterprise or mid market clients
• Background in consulting delivery environments with multiple concurrent projects

Work Schedule and Compensation

• Full time role  40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday during regular business hours aligned with CST or EST
• Compensation will be disclosed during the first interview

Role Summary

The Salesforce Project Lead will work closely with various stakeholders through the client organization to coordinate the implementation team (management, subject matter experts, consultants, and developers) accordingly.

Primary Responsibilities

• Facilitate client discovery sessions, working with technical and functional team members to identify the right solution for each client.
• Work with the client to translate their needs into detailed requirements and eventually translate to user stories.
• Work closely with the Functional & Technical Leads to ensure the business requirements are accurately translated into functional & technical requirements, and the team has all the information required to action.
• Ensure the project team has all the necessary tools required to start work (Sandboxes, Licenses, etc.)
• Facilitate sign-off of work completed by the client for each phase of the project (Build, QA, Deployment).
• Schedule and manage scrum/agile ceremonies, including huddles, backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint demos.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing strategies to minimize the impact of issues, controlling deviations from the project schedule, and estimating costs.
• Prepare and manage project schedules, burn reports, status reports, and change orders.
• Report on the status of the project to internal management and the client management team, including escalating issues where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate forecasting for project resources according to the approved budget.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients day-to-day, exceeding client expectations and ensuring satisfaction.
• Support clients throughout the project and post-project implementation process.

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

• 2-5+ years of experience in managing medium to large-scale, business-side projects
• Four-year degree or equivalent work experience
• Scrum Master Certification or equivalent experience
• Experience in Project Management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely to determine acceptable solutions
• Excellent documentation skills
• Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
• Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Visio, Project, Outlook, and SharePoint
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Previous experience implementing Salesforce solutions 
• Salesforce Certifications preferred
