Hi guys, we are currently hiring for a position at my Digital Agency based in the US specializing in Local SEO for home service companies. Attached is some more information!

Role: SEO Strategist & Specialist — this is hands-on execution AND strategy, not just one or the other.

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week. (This is not a side-gig.)

Compensation: $2000/month USD starting , paid directly to you via Wise or Payoneer bi-weekly. 14 Days PTO. Claude Max membership.

Location: Mexico only, Mexico City preferred but open to anywhere in the country as long as you can maintain the time zone overlap which is not much.

Full-Time Position: This is a full-time 40 hour a week position, we are looking for an applicant that is not a freelancer or an agency but someone who wants to grow within the company. We are very small, and plan to keep whoever we hire for the long haul with plans for growth in the future.

What you'll actually be doing:

• Owning SEO strategy and execution across ~13 active clients at different tiers (all NJ-based home service businesses) - Each client has its own amount of time allotted each month, and is on a schedule for service, allowing you to actually focus on one client per day.
• On-page optimization, content planning and creation, site audits, keyword research
• Building and executing local SEO campaigns (hub-and-spoke content architecture, citation management, link building)
• Working in WordPress (Elementor), SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics
• Collaborating directly with the agency owner (me) on client priorities — weekly syncs, async communication the rest of the time
• We use an in-house claude-code workspace to assist in drafting content (this does not mean just let AI take the wheel, we expect strategy and refinement on everything, AI is a tool and the content alone from it will not rank.

What I'm looking for:

• 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, local SEO experience is a major plus
• You can run a site audit, build a keyword strategy, write optimized content, and implement technical fixes without hand-holding
• Comfortable with WordPress and Elementor
• Proficient with SEMrush or Ahrefs (we use SEMrush)
• Strong written English, you'll be producing client-facing content
• Self-directed and organized. I'll give you priorities and SOPs, but you need to own execution day-to-day
• Reliable communication. I don't micromanage but I do expect responsiveness during working hours

What I'm NOT looking for:

• Someone who needs to be told what to do every step of the way
• AI-generated fluff content, I need someone who understands what makes content actually rank
• Agencies or teams. This is a single hire, one person.
