Finance Business Partner, Africa page is loaded Finance Business Partner, Africa Apply remote type On-Site locations Golfo De Salónica 73, 28033 MADRID, Spain time type Full time posted on Posted 29 Days Ago job requisition id 20085918 Date Posted : 2023-11-16Country : SpainLocation : Golfo De Salónica 73, 28033 MADRID, Spain Role Introduction As Finance Business Partner, Africa, you will be responsible for leading and directing the overall financial processes across Africa (Morocco, Egypt, Southern Africa countries and Global Distributor Network) including financial planning, budgeting estimates, developing short / long term functions goals, supporting accounting practices, structuring payables, credit, and control activities in the countries.

You will report to the OU Iberia and Africa CFO and serve as a member of the Africa Leadership team, being a valuable and important partner for the Africa organization and the functional partners.

As the Finance Business Partner OA Africa, your responsibilities will include : Supervising and developing all finance activities of Otis Africa, in particular : Support planning, Budgeting, Forecasting process with IBA FP&A team.

Business Advisory and analyticsActual reporting & analysisAsset ManagementSupporting the business to achieve the results across Africa Countries.

Supporting transformation in Africa Countries.Leads estimation and pricing committeeInternal and external financial and tax auditsFollowing collection process country by country.

Overseeing and directing all financial accounting activities related to accounts payables, accounts receivables, general ledger and cash management.

Ensuring completeness, accuracy and timeliness of all financial reporting including the coordination and completeness of annual audit reviews and ensuring compliance with all legal and statutory requirements.

Providing guidance and advice, related to the management of cash flow, cost controls and expenses for different functions identifying potential financial opportunities and weaknesses and recommending corrective actionsDefining and facilitating the achievement of goals and key performance indicators for direct reports and ensuring effective implementation of the performance management process in the Africa Finance Business Partner.

Nurturing talent within the organization by providing ongoing feedback, coaching and development opportunities to individuals to enable achievement of their defined goals.

To be successful in this role you will : Hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. A Master’s degree is preferredPossess minimum 10 years of relevant experience in managing financial operations in a construction / engineering organization, with at least 5 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.

Have a solid experience in ERP systemsHave successfully managed people to a high level of engagementSpeak excellent English and French (Plus Spanish / Arab speaker).

Have a clear presentation style and build networks across the Countries, Operating unit and EMEA.Be able to develop communication strategies, resolve conflicts and manage divergent audience perspectives.

Base in Madrid (Travel 50%-80% across Africa Countries).
