Role Summary

The Salesforce Project Lead will work closely with various stakeholders through the client organization to coordinate the implementation team (management, subject matter experts, consultants, and developers) accordingly.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Facilitate client discovery sessions, working with technical and functional team members to identify the right solution for each client.
  • Work with the client to translate their needs into detailed requirements and eventually translate to user stories.
  • Work closely with the Functional & Technical Leads to ensure the business requirements are accurately translated into functional & technical requirements, and the team has all the information required to action.
  • Ensure the project team has all the necessary tools required to start work (Sandboxes, Licenses, etc.)
  • Facilitate sign-off of work completed by the client for each phase of the project (Build, QA, Deployment).
  • Schedule and manage scrum/agile ceremonies, including huddles, backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint demos.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing strategies to minimize the impact of issues, controlling deviations from the project schedule, and estimating costs.
  • Prepare and manage project schedules, burn reports, status reports, and change orders.
  • Report on the status of the project to internal management and the client management team, including escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting for project resources according to the approved budget.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients day-to-day, exceeding client expectations and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Support clients throughout the project and post-project implementation process.


Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • 2-5+ years of experience in managing medium to large-scale, business-side projects
  • Four-year degree or equivalent work experience
  • Scrum Master Certification or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Project Management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely to determine acceptable solutions
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
  • Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Visio, Project, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Previous experience implementing Salesforce solutions 
  • Salesforce Certifications preferred

Compensation & Schedule

  • Compensation will be disclosed during the first interview.
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Monday–Friday, aligned with CST/EST time zones.
