About the Role:
Sagan connects experienced video editors and motion designers with US-based businesses. Your experience will be matched to relevant client opportunities, with specific responsibilities confirmed during the selection process.
Position Overview:
Turn source footage into clear, engaging videos. Short-form, long-form, mixed-format editing and motion design are separate tracks; tell us where your portfolio is strongest.
You do not need to cover every specialty. Tell us which responsibilities you have owned and where you are strongest.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize footage and assemble edits suited to the intended audience and format.
• Refine pacing, audio, captions and graphics within your editing specialty.
• Apply feedback and keep project files and versions organized.
• Check exports for format, audio, captions and visual quality.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Clear written and spoken English and careful attention to detail.
• Practical experience with video editing, audio, captions, motion design and export tools.
• Examples of work you have personally handled in your selected specialty.
• Availability for US business hours and an independent contractor engagement.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience supporting US-based clients or teams and familiarity with the industry you would support. These are preferences, not requirements for every opportunity.
