📋 General Description
Kraken is looking for a Social Media Lead to drive Kraken Pro’s social channels, creating timely, platform-native content for its trading community. The role combines content creation, community engagement, trend monitoring, performance analysis, and product storytelling.
📋 Key Responsibilities
• Create platform-native content for X, Telegram, and other social channels.
• Identify trends and reactive opportunities across crypto, trading, and broader social conversations.
• Engage directly with the Kraken Pro community through replies, quotes, polls, memes, and conversations.
• Build and manage an always-on content calendar, including approvals, scheduling, publishing, and monitoring.
• Translate product and ecosystem updates into clear and compelling content.
• Track social growth and performance and iterate through insights and experiments.
• Partner with Legal and Communications to ensure accurate and compliant messaging.
🎯 Qualifications
• Portfolio or examples of high-performing social content.
• 3+ years of experience in social media or content, ideally within fintech, crypto, or trading.
• High AI competency.
• Ability to create copy, memes, short-form video, charts, and threads.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Comfortable managing fast-paced social channels and producing content under pressure.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and capable of creating or coordinating visual content.
