About Concord
Concord AI (https://getconcord.ai) builds local-first tooling so AI coding agents can coordinate: shared presence, claims, messaging, and task memory, instead of colliding on the same files. Open source: github.com/get-concord-ai (concord-mcp, @concord-ai/concord-mcp).
Role: Full Stack Developer (Entry Level). Full-time / contract-friendly. Remote. 0-2 years experience (bootcamp / self-taught / first job OK if you can ship).
What you'll do
- Build and maintain full-stack features across our web product and supporting APIs
- Ship small, clear PRs: UI, backend endpoints, and basic data models
- Work with modern web stacks (TypeScript/JavaScript; React or similar on the front; Node or similar on the back)
- Help with docs, examples, and polish that make open-source tooling easier to try
- Collaborate asynchronously with a small remote team
What we're looking for
- Solid fundamentals in HTML/CSS/JavaScript (or TypeScript)
- Comfortable with at least one frontend framework (React preferred) and one backend (Node preferred)
- Can explain a project you built end-to-end (school, bootcamp, freelance, or personal)
- Clear written English; reliable internet for remote work
- Curious about AI developer tools (nice to have, not required)
Nice to have
- GitHub portfolio with real commits
- Basic SQL / Postgres
- Experience with APIs, auth, or deploying a small app
- Interest in MCP, coding agents, or open source
