What You'll Do
- Develop and execute effective email and SMS marketing strategies tailored to the unique needs of clients.
- Leverage Klaviyo's platform capabilities to create, send, and analyze email and SMS campaigns.
- Create custom audience flows based on customer journeys, engagement with communications and audience behavior and ongoing learnings and optimizations.
- Implement A/B testing methodologies to optimize messaging, design, and timing for maximum engagement and conversion.
- Collaborate with account, strategy, paid media, and web analytics to contribute to ongoing, holistic campaign recommendations to support the larger marketing and business goals for clients.
- Clearly communicate the how and why behind decisions, and their impact to team members and/or clients that may not have expertise in email or digital marketing.
- Analyze campaign data and user behavior to refine targeting, messaging, and segmentation strategies.
- Liaise with clients to understand their brand voice, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular updates on campaign performance.
- Provide clean and comprehensive reports showcasing campaign performance, key insights, and actionable recommendations.
- Ensure all email and SMS campaigns adhere to industry best practices, regulatory guidelines, and privacy regulations.
- Manage email deliverability.
- Manage the day-to-day relationships with all email & SMS vendors.
- Define email & SMS KPIs and oversee analysis and competitive benchmarking to improve email effectiveness and drive future strategies, and share these results with cross-functional teams through presentations and email updates.
What You Need
- 6+ years experience as an email marketing specialist in an agency environment.
- Expert with Klaviyo or similar email/SMS marketing platforms (3+ years).
- Experience in CPG and Shopify is desired, but not mandatory
- Expertise in email and SMS fundamentals: segmentation, list growth, data management, touchpoint mapping, KPIs, etc.
- Familiarity with email deliverability best practices and compliance requirements.
- Strong A/B testing experience and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Knowledgeable in building out loyalty/rewards programs.
- Strong project management skills, including management of agencies and vendors to ensure execution.
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and reporting.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Resourceful self-starter, with a can-do attitude that thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
