In this context, we are looking for a Product Owner.The Product Owner is the "Mini-CEO" of the product. He / She has the full accountability of the product throughout the entire life cycle, including user needs, communication, finance, build, transition, operations, support, continual improvement and decommissioning.

The Product Owner is instrumental in ensuring the sustainability and the cost efficiency of its products with the primary target to deliver value for the Group.

The Product Owner must identify what processes and what architecture capabilities his product will be contributing to. He / She must federate all initiatives in a functional area in order to have the largest potential customer base for his product.

The Product Owner is the content authority on features and user stories, providing the team with guidance as to what has to be delivered and ensuring flow of the Product through the Squad Backlog.

DIMENSION DU POSTE / DIMENSIONS OF ROLEReporting / Working Relationships : Head of IT & Transformation TeamOffshore teamsProduct Owners from other business lines and business unitsBusiness stakeholders of the MOTOR LoBData OwnersACTIVITÉS DU POSTE / KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThis role will mainly be in the management of MOTOR unit related platforms : Be accountable for estimates on Change Requests, User Stories, Project effortsBe responsible for stability and security of the named portfolio in line with changes requested by the business.

Be responsible to ensure the changes are delivered in terms of quality, budget & stability for the present, medium and long terms aims of the portfolio.

He / She will be responsible jointly with the Business owner : Develop and manage services as a product across their entire lifecycle : lead the ideation, development, launch, pricing and continual improvement of innovative products to drive maximum customer satisfaction.

Define the services from their conception to their launching / go-live and further maintenance.Build new services : technical solution selection, costing, recommended pricing, recommended SLADrive the development of the services ensuring that these ones are profitableManage small / mid-size, multi-national development team.

Provide the Application owners with clear goals and aid in prioritising development so that sprints can be developped and tasks assigned accordingly.

Interact with senior personnel from all aspects of the business community (technical and non technical).Assist in shaping business requirements into viable and valuable enhancements.

Provide clear and concise professional analysis and explanations to senior management on projects (current and future) to aid in budget planning and forecasting.

Provide a single point of contact for senior management to interrogate on escalated situations.Communicating with the stakeholders to understand their requirementsSelecting candidate work items for the upcoming sprint during the sprint planning sessionAnswering all questions from the team and providing necessary clarifications about the productAccepting and approving completed work items, or parts of the productManaging and refining the Product Backlog to best achieve goals and optimize the value of the work performedScheduling the sprint review, ensuring stakeholder attendance and leading parts of the meeting such as summarizing work completedDeciding when to release the productCoordinating delivery of the final product to the appropriate usersSu PerfilCOMPÉTENCES & EXPÉRIENCE / SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEMust have : Insurance Business knowledgeDeep experience in Agile Methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, )Technical background (preferably with Software engineering and coding experience).

Proven experience working with insurance markets, preferably travelUnderstanding of Travel Claims / Assistance processesAbility to analyse and understand both technical and business documentations and deduce valid requirements which can be translated into viable products.

Proven track record of successful project management at Application Owner level.Fast IT focused : ability to leverage AGILE methodologies, DevOps and other rapid development solutions to solve business needs and shorten time to deliveryAbility to work under pressure, to be able to quickly identify shifting priorities and provide concise communications to appropriate partiesAbility to direct and design solutions based on available and future technologies and architecturesAbility to forecast and plan budgets and resources for upcoming deliverables.

Ability to manage expectations, both internal and external without compromising solution integrity in the face of shifting priorities.
