Nimble Giant Entertainment is looking for a full time Marketing Lead to join the team, to help drive the company’s corporate marketing initiatives as they enter a period of growth and expansion and support the marketing campaigns for their self-published video game properties.

The Marketing Lead will work directly with the social media & community manager and development leads with oversight from the CEO. He or she will identify and partner with external creative and PR agencies and co-marketing partners where relevant to help execute campaigns effectively.  

This is a fantastic opportunity for a bright, energetic and creative marketer with strong project management skills with an interest in and knowledge of video games. The candidate must be a self-starter with a ‘can do’ attitude. 


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the HR team in the Internal Communications pillar and build a strong Employer Brand. 
  • Collaborate with key corporate stakeholders to provide on-going support for corporate initiatives including but not limited to updating and maintaining website pages, marketing materials, email campaigns, content and more.
  • Act as a steward of Nimble Giant’s corporate brand messaging, maintaining consistency throughout collateral.
  • Create the brand positioning documents and key messaging guidelines for each video game property after careful competitive analysis and market research. Propose pricing recommendations, identify sales channel opportunities and create lifecycle management plans for each release.
  • Collaborate with the development lead and social media & community manager to develop marketing strategies and tactics for each game release to raise awareness, increase hype and drive demand for Nimble Giant Entertainment’s video game releases.  
  • Execute tactical marketing initiatives that will include (but is not limited to) SEO and search campaigns, (organic/paid), social media, direct marketing, advertising, influencer partnerships, PR campaigns and event marketing.
  • Leverage internal teams and manage external creative agencies to ensure projects are on-time, on-budget, and to scope.
  • Create, maintain and communicate regular real-time tracking of campaign details, status, cost, and progress toward agreed upon KPIs
  • Measure and analyze success of strategies and tactics and make recommendations for future campaigns.


Requirements

  • 3-5 years relevant experience in a marketing leading position. Having experience within the video game industry is definitely a plus.
  • BA/BS or graduate degree (marketing, communications, or related degree a plus)
  • Must be professional, self-driven and take ownership in responsibilities
  • Must have good written and communication skills
  • Organized, multi-tasker who is able to manage multiple projects and excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player, problem solver, and “doer” with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent communications and partnership skills
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with proven track record of exceeding goals and reporting on performance and insights
  • Experience developing, executing and measuring integrated campaigns across multiple online channels (blogs, social media, email, search)
  • Experience with Google advertising tools and platforms” Adwords Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, a plus
