We are a small fast-growing quantity surveying company headquartered in Calgary Canada with a team of around 20 people. We are looking to hire a full-time employee / manager, working from home, anywhere in Argentina with the following requirements.

Ability to read and comprehend technical construction documents and create a summary for management review including construction drawings, bill of quantities, and technical specifications.

Minimum 4 years of Quantity Surveying and construction industry knowledge.Ability to research and propose solutions.Strong report writing / technical writing / professional writing in MS Word with a focus on the flow of language and grammar.

Strong excel skills with knowledge of formulas, tables, and analysis.Strong internet connection.Access to cell phone and laptop independently.

Ability to work flexible hours.Knowledge in building valuation and cost estimation is desired.

Job Title : Building Consultant (Full-Time)

Timings : The position is a full-time role that requires the candidate to work six days a week, from Monday

to Saturday.

Location : Work from Home

Company Overview : We are a small fast-growing cost consulting firm working in the construction

industry located in Calgary, Canada. We help clients navigate through the complexities in construction

cost management by providing cost estimating and consulting services.

Job Description : We are looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual who are skilled in

quantity estimation, cost estimation, quantity take-offs, document reviews, and preparing RFI and BOQs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct document reviews with accuracy and completeness to prepare file summaries.
  • Comprehend and review technical documents and provide a summary.
  • Identify and understand missing information in project documents.
  • Prepare requests for information (RFI’s) based on document review.
  • Audit contractors' invoices and assess their compliance with project requirements.
  • Prepare payment recommendations and monthly progress reports.
  • Write technical reports with good writing skills.

Qualifications & Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering / construction management. MBA is desired.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts and documents.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and Word, AutoCAD. MS-Projects and

Primavera P6 are preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication skills to communicate with team members, managers, and clients.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Maintain a strong internet connection and have access to a cell phone and laptop.
  • Be able to work flexible hours as needed.
