JOB DESCRIPTION

We are a company in the event planning industry currently looking for someone to help close appointments set for our team. Our company specializes in booking high profile people - past CEOs, motivational speakers, and researchers at conferences. In other words, you will be talking with event planners at the possibility at booking different industry experts and celebrities. The team is based in several continents: Asia, North and South America.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Working with appointment setters on qualifying leads.

- Talking with event planners about their conference requirements and matching them with the appropriate speaker.

- Taking notes on calls and passing them to the account managers to continue follow up.

- Researching speakers and events in order to find the best fit.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- At least 3 years of sales closing roles.

- Strong English writing and speaking skills.

- Experience working with remote teams.

- Strong internet connection.

Optional: Experience in the event planning industry.

SALARY

Base Salary: $800/month

Commission: 2.5% of each closed (Can range from $250-$1500/month)

Requerimientos:

What you can do for Expel

  • Understand what Expel does and how it maps to your customers' business problems.
  • Introduce Expel to the customers who believe in you and tell them what we do. Find where we fit from a cloud perspective and bring them onboard so we can help them together.
  • Average 4 net new prospect meetings per week to be able to meet the annual meeting target of 200.
  • Talk to new prospective customers. Begin to build your personal relationship with them as you tell them about Expel. If Expel fits, change them from prospects into customers.
  • Qualify prospects based on their interest level in Expels cloud solutions and their ability to purchase by virtue of the buyers budget, authority, need, and timeline.
  • Tell us what you learn as you explore the market. Help us understand where Expel fits, what we are missing, and how can we be better.


What you should bring with you

  • A real passion for Sales Done Right - meaning consultative, customer-focused and based in transparency, honesty and integrity.
  • An understanding of information security -- technologies, products and services; specifically cloud first security minded organizations.
  • Experience working in a fast-growing, scale up environment.
  • Comfortable working remotely, and asynchronously (you will be based out of your home office and will need strong prioritization/time management habits)
  • Lots of creativity, passion and problem solving towards helping customers.
  • An ability to talk to both business and technical buyers about what youre selling - you dont have to be an engineer, but you do need to understand what you sell.
